Development Program Information & Fees

Tier 2 Program Information & Fees

The Colorado 14ers hockey program believes in long-term athletic development and organic growth. We seek athletes who are willing to commit the time and effort required to achieve personal goals, as well as athletic and academic success. We pride ourselves in having a team for each athlete's skill set; offering competitive tier hockey, as well as recreational opportunities from U8 to U19. We understand that every athlete’s development and goals are different, and it is our mission to help mentor and guide each individual to meet their goals on and off the ice. Colorado 14ers will have professional female coaching representation on every team, understanding the importance of role models and mentorship for our players is at the forefront of our program’s success.

2023-2024 Recreational Program Season Outlook:

8U Team

  • LHA's U8 Program is its very foundation - the base upon which it builds its travel and house teams. The USA Hockey Initiation Program is designed for players 5-8 years old. It encourages a non-competitive environment in which children can learn the basic skills without the distractions that are often associated with an over emphasis on winning. Mastery of fundamental skills and the fun of playing are essential to the development of a lifelong interest in hockey.
  • Registration through Littleton Hawks Coed program HERE
  • ALL GIRLS 14ers Jamborees and practices will be offered to all females registered at LHA.

Colorado 14ers will have professional female coaching representation on every team, understanding the importance of role models and mentorship for our players is at the forefront of our program’s success.

The ultimate purpose of the program is to provide female athletes who are looking for a more challenging hockey development opportunity and who aspire to play at a level that suits their skill set and desire. This program pushes players out of their comfort zone by placing them with like-minded and similar-ability players and challenges them through high performance training with emphasis on skill development and hockey system training.

Who will be coaching?

Colorado 14ers have 20 committed coaches for the 2023-2024 season, with the majority being female athletes who played at the collegiate level. It is the program's intention to have a complimentary but diverse coaching staff that helps support the development of our players as female athletes on and off the ice. Each and every team in the program will have female representation on the coaching staff that will not only serve as role models and mentors, but will have a wealth of hockey knowledge and experience to advance the development of our athletes and help them reach their goals.
