The ultimate purpose of the program is to provide female athletes who are looking for a more challenging hockey development opportunity and who aspire to play at a level that suits their skill set and desire. This program pushes players out of their comfort zone by placing them with like-minded and similar-ability players and challenges them through high performance training with emphasis on skill development and hockey system training.

Who will be coaching?

Colorado 14ers have 20 committed coaches for the 2022-2023 season, with the majority being female athletes who played at the collegiate level. It is the program's intention to have a complimentary but diverse coaching staff that helps support the development of our players as female athletes on and off the ice. Each and every team in the program will have female representation on the coaching staff that will not only serve as role models and mentors, but will have a wealth of hockey knowledge and experience to advance the development of our athletes and help them reach their goals.
