New Additions to Coaching Staff
We're proud to introduce Lauren Bench, PWHL goaltender for the Minnesota team, and Baylee Wellhausen, Division 3 NCAA Head Coach at MSOE, as our latest addition to the coaching team. With experience playing for the Gophers and coaching high school goalies in Minnesota, Lauren brings invaluable expertise to elevate our Colorado goalies' skills! Wellhausen is no stranger to hockey as she played at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2014-2018. For the Badgers, Wellhausen totaled 42 career goals and 29 career assists in 155 games played. The Badgers made the Frozen Four three of her four seasons with the Badgers, won three Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) championships, and was also named Captain during her senior season.
Meet Our Head Instructor: Tracy Cassano
With an impressive 19 seasons as a head girls’ hockey coach in Minnesota, Tracy Cassano leads our coaching team. As the head Varsity coach for the Minnetonka Skippers, Tracy has led her teams to multiple State Tournament appearances and holds the record for most wins by a female coach in Minnesota History.
Our Coaching Team's Credentials
- Tracy Cassano has seen her players excel in college at prestigious Division I schools like University of Minnesota, Cornell University, and Harvard.
- Former players have also competed at the National level, representing Team USA at various age levels.
- Tracy serves as the Head Evaluation Coordinator for the Minnesota/USA Hockey High Performance Festival and Final 54 selection process, showcasing her leadership in player development.

Our coaching team includes assistant instructors Mike Cassano and Jared Rowan, defense specialist Rory Guilday, and goalie instructor Lauren Bench. With their collective expertise, this four-day camp promises to deliver the same exceptional training formula that shapes Minnesota's elite level players.

Each day, players will participate in video breakdown sessions covering essential aspects of the game, such as defensive strategies, offensive production, and zone entries. These sessions provide valuable insights to enhance players' understanding and performance on the ice.
